Did someone tell me that the English producer/director Tupaq Felber is attempting to do a six-part adaptation of Peter Bagge's Apocalypse Nerd for the BBC and I just conveniently forgot? Egad, I hope not. At any rate, above is the teaser trailer Felber put together.

CHICKEN SWEATERS!
You know what I like about the BBC? Unlike most American media outlets, it takes its journalism seriously. And despite being a state-sponsored organization, it has no discernible slant. Need proof? Check out the news report below on women who knit sweaters for featherless chickens. It favors neither Labour nor Conservative. The even-handedness is truly impressive.

‘Body sold’ to Russia kebab shop
Police in Russia have arrested three homeless men suspected of killing a man, eating part of the body and selling other parts to a kebab shop.
The men were held in the city of Perm, some 1,400km (870 miles) east of Moscow, local investigators said.
Their statement said that the suspects had targeted the 25-year-old victim out of "personal hostility".
It was not clear when the incident occurred. The men - who have not been named - have been charged with murder.
The investigators said on Friday that the body of the man had been found in a forested area near a public transport stop in Perm.
They said the three men attacked their victim with knives and a hammer.
"After carrying out the attack, the corpse was dismembered. Part of it was eaten and part was also sold to a kebab and pie kiosk," their statement said.
It was not immediately clear if any customers had been served.
One billion a day turn to YouTube
YouTube now gets over a billion hits a day, according to a new video blog post by the founder of the website.
Chad Hurley's blog marks the third anniversary of YouTube's controversial acquisition by Google.
The site was bought by Google in 2006 for $1.65bn - a price it later described as "a premium".
Earlier this year YouTube was at the centre of a content row over the amount of royalties it paid to musicians for hosting music videos.
Six months later the dispute was resolved when Google agreed to pay UK royalty collecting body PRS for Music an undisclosed lump sum.
Music videos reappeared for British YouTube visitors in September.
Mr Hurley co-founded the website in 2004 with Steve Chen and Jawed Karim.
‘Al-Qaeda-link’ Cern worker held
France has arrested a researcher at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (Cern) for suspected links with al-Qaeda, officials have said.
The 32-year-old man of Algerian descent was one of two brothers detained in the south-east town of Vienne on Thursday.
Police believe they had been in contact over the internet with people linked to al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, and had been planning attacks in France.
Cern's Large Hadron Collider is aiming to recreate conditions of the Big Bang.
The organisation confirmed that a physicist working at its site had been arrested "under suspicion of links to terrorist organisations", and said it was helping the French police with their investigation.
