Lego Star Wars Awesomeness
Great White Snark brought the clip to my attention, and I begrudgingly have to agree with him that the camera angles and shots along are worthy of a real, professional movie, to say nothing of the remarkably smooth animation. Enjoy.
Rube Goldberg would be blown away by this.
OK Go is known for its elaborate one-take videos. While I wouldn't consider their treadmill dance or field o' surprises to be that nerdy, when I saw this, well... that is some nerdy, mind-blowing shit right there. Basically, it's a Rube Goldberg device whose mission is to be awesome for three and a half minutes, which it succeeds at marvelously. Apparently the band actually built the device along with some guys from Synn Labs over several months, which makes me respect OK Go almost infinite. Clearly, they'd tried a few takes before getting the right one, but I can't hold that against them in the tiniest degree. I can't even imagine having to put all those dominoes back up, let alone resetting the whole damn thing.
Monkey Tuesday – Bizzaro
Well, seriously, just look at the picture. If you don’t see that and immediately want to watch the sh*t outta this video, I’m not sure we can be friends. It looks like it’s from a local cable-access show, and it tells the story of what happens when people stop being polite, and start singing songs about tripping balls in a time machine on a lap guitar dither autoharp. It’s one of the most mesmerizing things I’ve ever seen that didn’t involve jiggling tits. This guy claims to have had some wild nights. You know what? I’m inclined to believe him. I bet he's been in town getting tattoo's for bar $50 tabs or he's had one to many goldfish shots.
Cat-Wars – Hello Kitty Star-Wars Rip-off
Lets enjoy this miserable piece of star-wars rip-off filth together. I came across this abomination last night while I was looking for a NCIS Super Bowl commercial that Kat was recommending.
Baconman
These crazy canadians cover the friend in bacon ( $37.00 Canadian) and then fry that stuff up. The video starts with the talking in french. Then after 2:00 it gets a little odd coz they get rid of the bacon and just how shots of a dude in his underwear. Well at least there is something for william to look at ![]()
Japanese Allergy Meds are Awesome
I'm not sure what king of allergies they have in Japan but this a pretty cool ad.
The Making of the 2010 Pirelli Calendar by Terry Richardson
WARNING - NUDITY
Making airwaves was the recently shot 2010 Pirelli Calendar which brings together a remarkable topless cast of some of the world’s most beautiful women. The shoot– which includes the likes of Daisy Lowe, Lily Cole, Eniko Mihalik and Miranda Kerr– was photographed by Terry Richardson.
Terry Richardson (born 1965) is an American fashion photographer.
Richardson was born in New York City, raised in Hollywood and Ojai, California, and is the son of fashion photographer Bob Richardson. He attended Hollywood High School and Nordhoff High School in Ojai. He was shy as a teenager and at some times deemed "completely lacking in social skills". He played bass guitar in the punk rock band The Invisible Government for 5 years. Richardson began photography when the band broke up and his mother introduced him to Tony Kent, photographer who took him on as an assistant.
Spinners + Subwoofer = WTF
I used to think that there are only so many things you can attach spinners to. I was wrong, the human race keeps amazing me.
